Senior Paralegal

Gloria Longoria is a Senior Paralegal supporting the Firm’s case docket in its California and Texas offices. Before joining Deason Law, she gained extensive immigration law experience as a paralegal at a Houston-based immigration firm. She is highly proficient in various aspects of the immigration and visa process, focusing on family-based immigration.
At Deason Law, Ms. Longoria specializes in business immigration and work visas while continuing to manage family-based petitions. She also supervises a team of 2–4 employees, providing guidance and oversight on firm projects. In this role, she ensures team productivity, adherence to deadlines, and the delivery of exceptional client service.

Corporate Immigration

  • Preparation, organization, and submission of TN visa applications for Deason corporate clientele.
  • Preparation of application packets to assist clients in presenting their petition for relief from deportation in the Immigration Courts
  • Preparation of PERM Campaigns for Green Cards
  • Preparation of H2A Visas with the Department of Labor and USCIS
  • Preparation of L1As and L1B petitions with USCIS and U.S. Consulates
  • Preparation of H1B Petitions with USCIS and H-1B visas with the U.S. Consulates
  • Preparation of EB1C (I-140) petition with USCIS
  • Preparation of TD and H-4 petitions with USCIS and US consulate
  • Preparation of and Register H1B registration Lottery
  • Assist attorney with corporate audits

Family-based Immigration:

  • Preparation of family-based immigration cases, such as Form I-130 family petitions, Form I-485 adjustment of status petitions, and I-601 waivers.
  • Preparation of DACA cases.
  • Process immigrant visas with the National Visa Center and U.S. Consulates to assist clients in finalizing their green card cases.
  • Assist with in-person interpretations for attorneys and clients at USCIS and ICE Detention Facilities.
  • Preparation of Humanitarian Reinstatement Petitions
  • Preparation of advanced and Parole in Place
  • Preparation of VAWA matters
  • Preparation of I-212 waivers with USCIS
  • Filings with the Immigration courts

Education

  • Associates Degree as Paralegal Assistant 2016.
  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice at the University of Houston.
